研究簡介:
      血小板在維持血液正常運作是不可或缺的,當血小板功能異常則易導致各種心血管相關病變,也常影響到免疫反應。研究已知細胞間的許多介質包括活化血小板所釋出物質,尤其脂質代謝產物如:花生四烯酸、血栓素、血小板活化因子、前列腺素…等,會造成血小板活化及釋出更多的介質,所以說這些脂質代謝產物的過度表現往往是前述病變的肇因及不良的預後。此外,血小板受外界刺激也會改變細胞內氧化還原平衡狀態,伴隨一氧化氮及活氧根的釋出;如果它們過度表現也會引發細胞傷害性相關病變。
      我們興趣於利用血小板功能表現為工具,從中藥(單味與方劑)去尋找出對脂質代謝產物及過氧物等介質的作用具有抑制阻斷活性的組成,並研究組成的活性機制。所以實驗室的主要研究方向:中藥對脂質代謝產物刺激血小板活化之抑制活性評估。中藥活性組成對血小板細胞內訊息傳遞之改變機制。中藥組成對酵素相依及酵素不相依的脂質過氧化之抑制活性評估。中藥活性組成的抗氧化機制。
