研究簡介:
     癌症是全球死亡的主要原因。雖然有很多抗腫瘤藥物在臨床中的使用,現在,它們嚴重的副作用驅使我們發展新的治療策略,用以治療癌症、延長病人生命,和改善病人的生活品質。腫瘤細胞的形成主要是因為細胞生長失去應有的控制所引起,其原因主要可歸因於兩點:細胞週期檢查點失效以及細胞凋亡不活化。因此,活化細胞週期檢查點功能以及引發細胞凋亡是治療癌症的策略。我們已經建立一系列的技術來鑑定具有抗癌活性的中草藥成分或是化合物。這些技術包括快速的抗癌藥物篩選平台、抗癌機轉研究方法、以及荷瘤小鼠模型等。我們目前已經找到幾個具有抗癌活性的化合物,正在分析其作用機轉以及活體的抗癌活性確效。我們希望有朝一日能夠開發出有用的抗癌藥物,在對抗癌症上有一些貢獻。
