研究簡介:
      本實驗室的研究方向主要是探討中草藥對於血管內皮細胞的保護機制,藉由體外發炎模式、血管新生作用模式及癌症動物模式的建立,以篩選具有潛力的中草藥或天然物,並詳細探討細胞訊息傳遞之分子機轉及活性探討,俾能對中草藥之研究及推廣有所助益,進而應用在新藥之研發上。同時實驗室負責人於2008年起管理癌症治療藥物核心實驗室之職至今。

目前建立的研究領域包括:

一、血管保護作用:藉由血管內皮細胞之體外模式,探討動脈硬化過程中與免疫反應相關之發炎過程,以適當的標的基因來篩選預防動脈粥狀硬化之藥物,並探討其分子機轉。
二、血管新生抑制劑開發:利用Matrigel之體外模式評估血管新生作用,以篩選血管新生抑制劑藥物並探討其分子機轉,並進一步以動物進行生物體的確效,以應用於癌症之治療。
三、癌症治療劑或輔助藥劑開發:已建立癌症細胞毒殺平台及肺癌動物模式,並進一步以標靶治療的方向進行天然物或合成修飾物的癌症藥物開發,並探討相關訊息傳遞及細胞週期變化。
