Despite the profound impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to a four-year postponement of the "Double Tenth Conference," this century's calamity has showcased the remarkable capacity of traditional medicine in addressing emerging infectious diseases. Simultaneously, it has prompted a reevaluation of the value and role of traditional medicine in disease treatment and healthcare. Therefore, convening the "Double Tenth Conference" in 2024 has become a highly opportune time to gather experiences and share insights from different regions.
