The National Research Institute of Chinese Medicine (NRICM) and the India-Taipei Association (ITA) jointly organized the 2024 Ayurveda Day event on November 21, 2024. Hosted through the "AYUSH Information Cell” at NRICM, the event centered on the theme "Ayurveda for Global Health Innovation."

The program featured engaging activities, including a live presentation by Taiwan's first Ayurveda practitioner, Vaidya (Vd.) Hu Chih-Chen, who introduced various commonly used Ayurvedic spices. An Indian chef demonstrated the traditional preparation of spiced Indian milk tea, offering participants an in-depth understanding of the culinary and health applications of these spices.
