研究簡介: 
　　在面對現代醫學窘境的同時，求教於自然，已成為一個重要趨勢。天然物具有生物多樣性，與化學多樣性。天然物包含了許多類型的化合物，像是類、生物鹼、類黃酮、牲肽、蛋白質、脂質、碳水化合物、核酸、核苷酸等等諸如此類。在對抗新疾病、或提高醫療效益等研究，天然物的發現常讓人喝采。像是銀杏葉抽提物的增進微血管血流作用、青蒿素的抗瘧作用、紫杉醇的抗癌作用、穿心蓮內酯抗發炎作用、金絲桃素的抗憂鬱症作用等等。以活性引導的方式，進行活性組成研究，為本研究室的研究重點。進行層析實驗以分離純化標的組成、光譜分析以解析確立化學結構、化學修飾以探討活性與結構相關性、製程最佳化探討標的物的量化、及分析條件最適化以利品質管制等研究。
